Who doesn't love shoes?!

So today on Payless, it is their crazy BOGO sale. Two pairs of shoes for under $30 - sign me up!

But wait, I just found out there is a coupon code circulating for 30% off your purchase usuable online or a coupon you can print in store. I added four pairs of shoes of varying prices to my cart and the total was right around $50. Four pairs for $50. Yeah, they will fall apart in a few months but by then I will be bored with them anyways!

Code is 53833 and expires August 21, 2011.

CVS Deal

So last night, I went to CVS and totally scored so I had to share! I used coupons from this past Sunday's paper. A $4.00 off one Gillette Fusion razor and a $2.00 off one package of Pampers Cruisers. PLUS, I scanned my Extracare card when I got there and was rewarded with another store coupon for $1.00 off any Pampers Jumbo pack of diapers - SWEET!

The razor was on my list initially because it was on sale for $9.99 (regularly $10.99) and came with two blades/cartridges. This is HB's favorite razor and a four pack of blades/cartridges is normally around $13-$15 at CVS. Plus I had the coupon so $5.99 for an extra razor and two cartridges was a pretty good deal right? Add to that the CVS sale offer of $5.00 extra bucks when you purchased one meant I paid a net of $0.99 plus tax - WIHOO!

The diapers were not on my list but luckily I had my coupon folder with me. They were "on sale" (and I say that loosely because this wasn't a great price for 26 diapers - an OK price but $0.35 per diaper is way more than my usual of under $.30 per diaper delivered) for $8.99 for a jumbo pack. Then I had the $2.00 manufacturer coupon and the $1.00 store coupon making them $5.99 for 26 or $0.23 per diaper. Then I got $1.00 in Extrabucks for a net of $4.99 or $0.19 per diaper. I have to say here too that these are the Cruisers (new ones without Drymax, thankfully) which are the more expensive diapers. I wish I could have gotten this deal on my Baby Drys but those are cheaper anyways so it wouldn't have been as exciting.

Total with tax: $10.26 plus $6.00 in Extrabucks to use on my next visit.

Zulily - Alex Toys!

I know it has been a while since I shared a good deal but this is a BUSY summer and, honestly, for a while I wasn't seeing anything that excited me. Today though, I love the ALEX toys on Zulily. Easels and art tables and crafty supplies to help your little one learn to express their creativity. And they make tabletop and wall easels too which are great for smaller spaces (our big easel takes up a lot of room in the playroom so I am thinking of getting a tabletop one for upstairs so he can draw while I cook/clean/etc.).

Enjoy!
